If you think that acne is bad, think again. Acne scar is worse! Dark marks take a very long time to lighten and pits are most of the time permanent. I admit, I have more than just a few. I have deep acne scars on my cheeks and forehead. I've been using at-home chemical peels for years with very minimal results so I went to Let's Face It last year to ask the dermatologist if he would recommend skin micro needling. He said that skin needling would help reduce acne scars by making the skin create more collagen. He told me that I need to buy the derma roller from them (but I would not get to take it home, he said he will keep it there in a solution to keep it sterile) and it costs 8,000 Php. Aside from that, the treatment would cost 4,000 Php / session every two weeks. If you can tolerate the pain, go for it! You will save a lot of money if you will get your own roller and do home treatment.
